About tXtBlaster
tXtBlaster.com is a free, group-based text-messaging system that allows administrators and members to interact instantly via text messages.
Initially, Mimeya became the software provider for the tXtblaster.com web-application, providing maintenance and feature requests for the application. Over time, we've become increasingly involved with the tXtblaster organization and are currently in the process of re-engineering central components of their core application. The application includes: a Web Interface for users to manage their accounts and groups, an administrative interface for tXtBlaster admins and reporting, and a messaging sub-system that routes all messages to the correct handset.
Mimeya also manages tXtBlaster's server infrastructure and handles some of their vendor relationships. We meet (virtually) on a regular basis to discuss the goals of the business. Mimeya then matches technology solutions with those goals to maintain their business momentum.
Some of the technology solutions that Mimeya has incorporated into tXtBlaster include: Amazon Web Services (AWS: specifically EC2, S3, EBS), Apache, MySQL, PHP5, SMS, SMPP, MVC, Javascript (AJAX).
