About Ladies Who Launch
Mimeya provided the Ladies Who Launch organization with a wide range of technology services and support, from development and production environment configuration and testing, to platform, such as .NET and PHP, and database (e.g., MSSQL and MySQL) development, to email migration and direct-user technical support.
Ladies Who Launch (LWL) is a multiplatform lifestyle company and the source for entrepreneurial-minded women who want to "live their dreams and love their lives." LWL defines entrepreneurship as a lifestyle choice and connects women online and in person to foster creativity, community, and support. Mimeya successfully migrated LWL from an inadequate in-house email system that lacked the uptime and performance to handle their volume of clients, to a premiere business-level email solution.
We guided the LWL's talented CTO and team of software engineers in configuring a software development environment that would allow them to build and test their technology effectively. We also configured portions of their production environment—that is now serving the web application and in use by the LWL staff—to manage both the website and communication to members. Finally, we have developed specific software modules to help LWL debug their applications, pull Alexa data using Amazon's Alexa Web Information Service (AWIS), and manage production database changes.
