Engineering Hand Hygiene Compliance
DebMed was developed by a multi-disciplinary team of scientists, researchers and engineers from Deb Group, along with healthcare industry thought leaders from the medical, research, infection prevention and quality management communities.
Mimeya has been working with DebMed since 2009, and has been very heavily involved in many aspects of the system. Our main responsibility has been to build the data aggregation and reporting portal, including the Group Monitoring System (GMS) application.
The GMS system is a HHCI (hand hygiene compliance index) reporting system for Deb customer's and much more for Deb. Within the system Deb has access to physical equipment information and locations, installation tools as well as user and customer management tools... and more.
The GMS system will store 10's of millions of rows of data every year for every DebMed customer. In building the GMS system we designed a reporting portal with the potential to house billions (maybe trillions) of rows of data. It was a large and exciting undertaking for Mimeya.
